Hi all,

Something I’ve been noticing recently.

A lot of thoughtful people don’t struggle because they lack ideas.

They struggle because they’re sitting with too many options at once.

Course choices.
Career direction.
Projects to start or stop.
How to use their time.
What actually matters right now.

So they think. They reflect. They read. They try to “figure it out.”

But the decision doesn’t get clearer. It gets heavier.

More information doesn’t always lead to better decisions. Sometimes it just increases the number of things to consider.

In my advising work, what tends to help isn’t more thinking. It’s structure.

Clarifying:

  • what actually matters in this moment

  • what constraints are real (and which aren’t)

  • what trade-offs are being avoided

  • what a decision would look like if it were made cleanly

So I’m testing something small.

A few structured decision sessions for people who feel stuck in a complex choice.

This is not coaching or long-term planning.

It’s a focused session to help:

  • lay out the situation clearly

  • reduce the noise

  • identify the real decision

  • leave with a direction you can act on

If you’re navigating something that feels unclear or heavy, you can reply to this email with a short description of the decision you’re facing.

I’ll follow up with next steps.

— Greg
