Over the past few months I’ve been thinking about what you said in Designing What Comes Next Together.
Many thoughtful people mentioned that they want system designs for growth. One particular issue people were working with is restating personal systems over and over.
Exercise plans restart. (One of my plans I can’t seem to get right.) Writing routings restart. Study structure restarts. Reflection practices restart.

And its rarely because people don’t care.
More often, our environment overrides our intentions. By the environment, I mean work interrupts, our schedule gets tighter, and/or energy drops.
And when one week breaks, the instinct is to start again; all or nothing.
I’ve been wondering what would happen if we approached this differently.
Instead of restarting, what if we focused on refining our systems so that any changes in our environment, our systems hold under pressure?
To explore this question, I’m running a small 90-day experiment called Alignment Lab.
Participants will choose one core practice and track a simple metric each week:
Intention-to-Action Ratio (IAR) = The percentage of intended sessions actually completed.
Each week we'll analyze what overrode the intention and adjust the structure accordingly. I will provide weekly feedback based on your weekly submission.
Cohort size is intentionally small so patterns can be observed carefully.
