10 Pages for Your next 10 years

A buleprint for FUTURE

The best way to predict the future is to create it.

- Peter Drucker

Life often feels like a whirlwind, a constant rush with little time to pause and reflect.

But what if taking just 2-3 hours could drastically change the trajectory of your next decade? This is the power of the "10 Pages for the Next 10 Years" exercise. I recently saw a small short by Mukesh Bansal on the same which made me write this article, here it is for you.

All you first need to do is sit down(or stand), grab a pen and envision your ideal future.

On ten blank pages, you'll write down your dreams. What professional milestones do you want to achieve? What places do you dream of exploring? Who do you envision sharing your life with? Let your imagination run wild as you fill those pages with the vivid details of your desired future.

This isn't just about listing random desires; it's about delving deep and unearthing your authentic aspirations. As you write, allow yourself to dream big, free from limitations.

Once your 10 pages are filled, now the real magic begins and the crucial step": Identify what habits that will propel you towards your goals. These habits don't have to be grandiose; event the smallest but consistent actions when compounded over time, can yield incredible results.

Imagine waking up earlier to pursue a passion project, taking a language classes to prepare for your dream trip, or prioritising healthy habits to become the best version of yourself. These small actions, when practiced daily, become the building blocks of your desired future.

The "10 Pages for the Next 10 Years" exercise is more than just a planning tool; it's a commitment to your self for your growth. It's about taking control of your destiny and actively shaping your reality. It now also gives you something big to loose.

Fast forward five or ten years. You look back at those ten pages filled with dreams and aspirations. You'll be amazed at how many of them have blossomed into reality, thanks to the power of intentionality and consistent action.

So, take those 2-3 hours. Write your own 10-year blueprint and you'll be surprised at how far you can go when you have a clear vision and a plan to follow.
